Greetings all!
We're continuing to work on the big-ticket items slated for 3.30.0, most notably the effort to get to a good working reactor for Python 3.12.x and greater. That work is progressing slower than I'd like, however, and in the meantime we have a number of other fixes which are piling up in git. We are aware of two or three downstream projects which are waiting on some of these fixes so in order to unblock those efforts we've decided to put out a 3.29.3 release to get these fixes out into the wild.
Work will continue on the 3.30.0 release and it's focus (finding a good reactor implementation for Python 3.12 and up) hasn't changed.
If you have any questions about this release please feel free to post them here! And thanks!
