to DataStax Node.js Driver for Apache Cassandra Mailing List
When I write a little command line utility that calls `client.execute(...)`, Node doesn't quit after that. I can of course simply kill the process with Control-C, but I'm wondering why it's doing that, and if there is something I can do in code to shut it down cleanly.

Nevermind. I just found the client `shutdown` method.
