I'm glad to announce the release of version 4.5.0 of the DataStax Node.js Driver for Apache Cassandra, this new version features the improvements and fixes:

Features

• [NODEJS-573] - Expose a method to build the default load balancing policy with the data center name
• [NODEJS-564] - Include available dcs in all localDataCenter errors
• [NODEJS-571] - Apollo: Validate server certificate CN against the proxy host name
• [NODEJS-489] - Support for new Graph engine
• [NODEJS-482] - Remove unnecessary allocations during GraphExecutionOptions creation

Bug fixes

• [NODEJS-594] - Cloud support uses fs.promises which is marked as experimental in Node.jsThe new version is available on npm.
