Hi guy,
I am using cassandra 3.11.4 for years. recently I found a multi-thread bug when creating new column family. the error message is like 'Column family ID mismatch'
I am wondering did this bug have fixed in latest version or is there any plan to fix it?

thanks!
Dayu

Hi,

This sounds like a problem on the server, not the driver. Are you trying to create the same table from multiple clients? According to one comment on CASSANDRA-8387, this is a known issue:

Unfortunately, this is as expected. Multiple clients should not be trying to create the same table.

If you need more information, the cassandra-user mailing list would be a better place to ask.

Concurrent schema changes are definitely a pain point in Cassandra. See CASSANDRA-10699.
