Are there any objections to allowing the use of C++11 or C++14 features in the internal implementation of the cpp-driver?
The big implication is that older platforms with compilers and standard libraries too old to support C++11/14 features would no longer be supported for the latest releases of the driver. It's possible that critical fixes could still be backported to older versions of the driver that still support these platforms.
Let me know your thoughts.
