Unit Testing DAL written with the cpp driver

Hi Team, 

Are there examples on how we unit test the data access layer written using the cpp driver ? One brute idea, is to implement a wrapper on top of the cpp driver and mock the entire wrapper to test it. Any ideas or examples pointing to the right way will be greatly appreciated ?
