Hi,
The Java driver team is pleased to announce that version 1.2.3 of the Java DSE driver has just been released.
In spite of its odd version number, this version is the first publicly available release in the 1.2.x series, and brings full support for DSE 5.1,
released today. It also includes all features released in the Java driver 3.2.0 for Apache Cassandra®,
released 3 weeks ago. And last but not least, it also ships with the first non-beta release of the long-awaited
DSE Graph Fluent API (a.k.a. Apache TinkerPop™ extensions for DSE Graph).
You can check the full changelog
here. The code is available
on Github.
Please note: for various reasons, this release changes the Maven artifact coordinates of the driver. Be sure to read our
upgrade guide to understand how to upgrade your application.
DSE Graph users should also be aware that the
Github repository containing the beta version of the DSE Graph Fluent API will be discontinued; the DSE Graph Fluent API codebase has been
incorporated into the driver's Github repository and will from now on be released and published along with the driver, but under new coordinates. Again, read our
documentation for more details.
As usual, the DSE driver is available from Maven; see the
Getting the driver section in our documentation.
