[Release] C/C++ Driver RC1

Hi,

I'm excited to announce the RC1 release of the C/C++ driver. This version includes several improvements and bug fixes. Here are some highlights:

* Improved diagnostics via global logging
* Improved UUID API
* Exposed TCP socket options

This release also includes necessary, but breaking API changes. The major API changes are related to the issues CPP-159, CPP-182 and CPP-190 [1]. The API should now be considered stable for the 1.0 GA. More detailed information about these changes can be found in the blog post.

hi Mike,

Where is the tar file for RC1 at?

I look on:

https://github.com/datastax/cpp-driver/releases

and all I see are beta 1-5.
