Hello,

Will rpms for this driver ever be a part of the datastax yum repo ? They don't seem to be in http://rpm.datastax.com/community/ .

Thanks,

Michel

Yes, I'll work on getting the rpm in our yum repo. It likely won't be until after the 2.1 GA release though.

Thanks for the heads up.

Mike

Hi,
any news on whether the cpp driver is going to be part of the datastax repo?

One thing I did find was that I downloaded the cpp driver 2.1 rpm, but the architecture was set to "amd64" and Red Hat's yum won't accept that as an alias of x86_64 so won't install on RHEL7.1.
I ended up grabbing 2.1 from your git and using the build rpm script (which words very well, just needed to edit it to set arch appropriately).

thanks
Paul

Hey,

Created a story to get this done: https://datastax-oss.atlassian.net/browse/CPP-313

Glad you were able to get the build script working. :)

Mike

thanks

I created an atlassian account, hoping I could comment on the Jira entry, but couldn't.
