2.5 client compatible with Cassandra 3.9?

Dear all:

I'm new to Cassandra, and am checking out the C/C++ driver. The main page says

This release is compatible with Apache Cassandra 1.2, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 and 3.0.

Should i read that as it is not compatible with versions > 3.0, like 3.9 or 3.10?
