Spring 2026 Audition Update

Spring 2026 auditions are underway and will formally conclude tomorrow afternoon. If you have not yet signed up for a time slot, the orange-highlighted ones are now available, and more can be added if demand is great enough. Visit our audition page for complete details or write to us at uc...@berkeley.edu.

***SPRING 2026 TIME CHANGE***

Please note that UCBWE will rehearse from 7-9 PM on Mondays & Wednesdays this spring instead of the usual 4-6 PM. This change should be reflected in CalCentral very soon.

As a reminder, all new/prospective members, as well as continuing members who have completed 1-2 semesters, must audition. Continuing members who have completed 3 or more semesters within the last 3 calendar years are exempted from re-auditioning, but must declare their seat by the last day of auditions.

At this time, all students intending to participate should add Music 142-001 to their CalCentral schedule. All enrollees will be automatically waitlisted, and those who are accepted will be enrolled after auditions have concluded. Please note that this is standard practice for all auditioned Music Department ensembles at Berkeley.

• Sat, Feb 28, 2 PM
• Wed, Apr 1, 12 PM (noon concert)
• Sat, May 2, 2 PM
