Fall 2025 Auditions!

Greetings from Berkeley, where the Fall 2025 semester is upon us!

UCBWE auditions will be held next week, August 27-30 (Wednesday-Saturday). As a reminder, all new/prospective members must audition, as well as previous members who have completed 1-2 semesters in good standing. Previous members who have completed 3 or more semesters out of the last 4 are automatically accepted.

"How do I sign up?" — Visit the bulletin board outside of 43 Chavez Center at your earliest convenience. — "Where's that?" — We are located in the basement level of Chavez Student Center, across Strawberry Creek from Dwinelle Hall. You can find more details on our audition page.

Registered students are encouraged to add Music 142-001 to their schedules in CalCentral. **New for Fall 2025: All enrollees in Berkeley Music Department ensembles (including UCBWE) will be added to the waiting list until after auditions are completed.

Lastly, all prospective and returning members are invited to attend the Fall 2025 Open House  on Wednesday, August 27 from 1-2 PM in BRH.  Come learn about the ensemble and our plans for the fall, ask questions, meet others, inquire about rentals, and more.
