IMPACT: Loss of connectivity for several departmental firewall services, causing network disruption for users on those wired networks.
DESCRIPTION: After maintenance this morning to add connectivity capacity, a planned reset led to a failure of routing between campus firewalls and the router they connect to. This was an unexpected behavior which resulted in significant disruption for campus users on the impacted firewalls.
The network team worked with our firewall vendor to resolve the issue, and connectivity has been restored.
