SCOPE: ClearPass management system and Wi-Fi Keys user/device management
IMPACT: There will be a 5~10 minute window where Wi-Fi Keys and Berkeley-Visitor may not allow access while the ClearPass cluster promotes a new management node.
DESCRIPTION: We are migrating management of the ClearPass cluster to one of the members in the Earl Warren Data Center. This is part of the redundancy design and has been performed previously. For a brief period during the migration the database will be locked, which will not stop eduroam and Berkeley-IoT, by may impact Berkeley-Visitor and will cause an outage for Wi-Fi Keys user and device management while DNS is updated.
