Hi!

This is Jules Pizano, I just graduated in May from Berkeley. I am one of the Campaign Organizers from Evolve California, a grassroots non-profit working to fully-fund education in California! I want to let you know that Evolve, a grassroots non-profit working to fully-fund education in California, is currently recruiting Spring 2026 interns.

If you know any folks who may be interested, please feel free to pass the below flyer/email onto them! We really appreciate all of your work to connect students with opportunities that can help them jump start their careers, and would love to have some Berkeley students participate in the program this spring.

Thanks so much,

Jules

EXCITING FALL INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Are you interested in grassroots organizing, social justice, and working on an exciting campaign to fully-fund public education in California?

Evolve California is seeking fall interns in the Bay Area to participate in our effort to make education funding a priority over corporate tax breaks! Our internship is a rare opportunity to get hands-on experience in grassroots organizing that has a direct impact on our campaign to fully fund public education in California.

As an intern, you will:

  • Participate in trainings to develop organizing, advocacy, and leadership skills.

  • Create and post content on social media.

  • Conduct research and data entry as needed.

  • Learn how to effectively message complex policy proposals to the general public.

  • Gain valuable professional experience working on a historic grassroots movement.

We are looking for students or recent graduates who want to gain professional experience in grassroots organizing, digital organizing and campaign research & messaging. A minimum of 10-12 hours a week is required and the internship runs from early September to early December. (Start and end dates are flexible with the possibility of continuing the internship based on availability).

We are currently a hybrid office, and will expect our interns to be able to work remotely and come into the office once a week, if health and safety guidelines permit. Therefore, applicants MUST be in the Bay Area and able to commute to our office. Applicants must be fully vaccinated.

This internship is a paid position with competitive financial compensation for a grassroots non-profit. In addition we reimburse for transit costs associated with the internship, and provide lunch once a week in the office. Upon program completion, interns may receive a letter of recommendation and professional reference for future opportunities. We will also gladly work with universities to offer course credit whenever possible.

If you're interested in this exciting opportunity, make sure to apply by November 7th (applications are accepted on a rolling basis). To apply:

We look forward to hearing from you.
