  • The UC Berkeley School of Social Welfare works to transform systems that perpetuate poverty and social disadvantage. Our Sexual Health and Reproductive Equity (SHARE) Program conducts community-engaged research to advance reproductive health and equity. This position will direct the California Abundant Birth Project (ABP) Evaluation study—a guaranteed income program for pregnant people with preterm birth risk factors. The program will serve at least 725 participants across 4 counties (Los Angeles, Contra Costa, Alameda, and Riverside). The longitudinal evaluation will focus on Black and African American participants, using community-based participatory research to understand ABP's impact on pregnancy outcomes, stress, and mental health.
