Role MissionLead NCFC’s Runaway Youth Crisis Services program to ensure youth in crisis receive immediate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care.
This includes:
- Stabilizing youth in unsafe situations
- Coordinating emergency placements
- Supporting safe family reunification
- Strengthening program responsiveness and impact
Key Responsibilities- Lead intake, triage, and crisis response for runaway and high‑risk youth
- Conduct safety assessments and coordinate emergency housing placements
- Support safe and appropriate family reunification efforts
- Provide guidance and supervision to social workers, interns, and crisis staff
- Support team decision-making for complex cases and safety planning
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation in RHY-HMIS / HMIS
- Monitor program performance, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Build strong partnerships with schools, shelters, hospitals, and community providers
- Support outreach and foster placement development efforts
- Collaborate with leadership on program improvement and service delivery

QualificationsEducation
- MSW or closely related behavioral health field
Language Requirement
- Bilingual Spanish / English required
Additional Requirements
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform field-based work across the East Bay
- Experience in crisis intervention, child welfare, or youth services preferred
- Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills
