New position in San Francisco with Human Services Agency - would be a great fit for graduating Macro/Meso MSW students.
I do not have more information myself, so please reach out to the contacts listed in the job posting for any questions and/or to apply.

Senior Planning Analyst (Program Support Analyst - 2917) - San Francisco Human Services Agency - Planning Division (162152)

The San Francisco Human Services Agency’s Planning team is hiring a Senior Analyst. This role sits on a centralized team that serves the entire agency, offering a unique opportunity to gain deep exposure to a wide range of anti-poverty programs, policies, and populations. SFHSA Planning analysts collaborate with staff at all levels—from frontline teams to executive leadership—to gather perspectives, share insights, and help move key agency priorities forward. The work includes analyzing legislative and programmatic changes, assessing community needs through quantitative and qualitative research, evaluating program impact, delivering high-quality data analytics to inform strategic decision-making, and applying strong project management skills to ensure priority initiatives move forward efficiently and drive meaningful outcomes in public benefit and social services that support 1 in 4 San Franciscans.

Examples of recent projects led by the SFHSA Planning team include: planning and implementing San Francisco's emergency grocery card initiative for CalFresh recipients during the November federal shut down; leading legislative analysis and developing HR1 impact estimates for San Francisco's Medi-Cal and CalFresh caseload; and facilitating a one-year Dignity Fund community needs assessment to shape $80M funding allocations for aging and disability services.

Interviews are likely to take place in March/April, with a potential start date in May/June, making this a strong fit for students graduating this spring. Given this and the City’s current budget context, interested candidates are strongly encouraged to apply now rather than wait for a future opportunity.
