The Adoption Services Branch (ASB) facilitates adoption of children who need permanent homes by providing direct Agency and Independent adoption and Resource Family Approval services through six regional offices located throughout California. An Adoptions Specialist impacts lives by directly working with children, parents, and community partners. The ASB facilitates the adoption of children who need permanent homes by providing adoption services through regional offices throughout the state. The Oakland Regional Office is responsible for providing these services in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
