I hope this message finds you well! I am reaching out on behalf of the Trauma Systems Therapy Training Center at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine to share a unique professional development opportunity that may be of great interest to your alumni network.
The Never Look Away™ (NLA) Trauma Training Program is an engaging, case-based trauma-informed program to help professionals in child-serving systems improve their knowledge and skills for helping traumatized children and their families, especially when the clinical problems requiring care are complex or involve high risk for harm. NLA also offers 11 Continuing Education (CE) credits to licensed social workers and mental health professionals (LMSW/LCSW/LMHP) for $25.
What is Never Look Away™?
NLA is a unique, engaging, case-based trauma training program providing practical guidance on such topics as assessment, intervention strategy, family engagement, and risk management for even the most challenging cases. Centered on a series of animated videos describing the care of two traumatized children, NLA guides participants to consider practical application in:
This program will run for 6-weeks, from May 8, 2026, through June 12, 2026, with participants engaging in a 2-hour Zoom session once a week. The curriculum consists of animated videos, live training by faculty experts, and guided group discussion. Group discounts are offered for groups of 10 or more participants. In collaboration with the NYU Silver School of Social Work, we are pleased to offer 11 Continuing Education (CE) credits for a registration fee of $25 upon completion of the training. Please note that attendance and active participation in all six live discussion sessions are required to be eligible for these credits.
