Dear Colleague,

Wishing you a Happy New Year and requesting your assistance spread the word about a Fellowship opportunity for graduating MSW students.

We’re getting ready to post an MSW Fellowship position at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill Counseling and Psychological Services. Our Fellowship program has been training early career Social Workers in the art and technique of psychotherapy for close to ten years. These positions combine training activities with an abundance of clinical work experience in the domains of individual brief therapy, crisis and same-day appointments, group therapy, and referral coordination. We are currently seeking to hire for our 2026-27 cohort, which will begin on August 3rd, 2026.

Will you pass along this e-mail and the accompanying attachment (a position description) to your graduating class (and other early career Social Workers who might be interested)? I am striving to have the position listed and open by mid-January. Please encourage prospective applicants to get in touch with me directly in the next couple of weeks (d...@email.unc.edu) . I’ll maintain a list of the folx who have contacted me and reach out to each person directly to let them know that the position has been posted.

Thanks for your consideration and help,

Dave DeVito
