Hi directors of field education and colleagues,

UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland has several openings in the Medical Social Services Department for social workers interested in working in the hospital's fast-paced setting as a medical social worker. Please see list of job openings below with the website link included:
  • Per diem, working day shifts, variable hours
  • Per diem, working Short hour shifts for days, 16 hours per week
  • Per diem, working Short hour shifts for evenings, 16 hours per week
  • Full-time temporary coverage, in Oncology as an Oncology medical social worker (Until mid-January 2022)
  • A permanent, part-time, 32-hour position, working as a medical social worker in the Thalassemia Department. Shifts include every third Saturday of the month

  • Per diem, working weekday shifts, variable hours
  • Per diem, working short hour shifts, 16 hours per week, Sat. & Sun., 7:00am - 3:30 pm
  • Full-time, temporary coverage, in Oncology (Until mid-January 2022)
  • Permanent, part-time, 32-hours per week in Thalassemia (shifts include every third Saturday of the month) 
  • Permanent, full-time position in Endocrinology
  • Permanent, full-time position in Neurology
  • Permanent, full-time position in Medical/Surgical
