The Children's Services Operations Bureau is recruiting for an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA)/Staff Services Analyst (SSA) in the Children and Family Services Division. As a member of the Children’s Services Operations Bureau the work you do as an AGPA/SSA will help serve aid and protect the needy and vulnerable children and families of California.

 

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I of the Children's Services Inquiry and Response Unit, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst is responsible for the intake and response to concerns raised by county social workers utilizing the Social Worker Empowerment Hotline, as well as all concerns raised by constituents in response to ICWA compliance and general child welfare activities. This position is responsible for handling highly sensitive and confidential information as well as regular and frequent interactions with the highest levels of tribe leadership and advisory committees alongside county executive and employee labor organizations in the course of inquiring about worker concerns.
