General Opportunities

Fill out Jacobs Hall New Student Welcome Center Survey!

Join us in reimagining the Jacobs Student Welcome Center (SWC), which will occupy two spaces: the west entrance lobby and Room 103. The new welcome center will serve as an accessible, engaging place for students to get information, resources, and opportunities for exploring design and technology.

Students, we would love to hear your input by filling out this quick survey by Wednesday, March 15th. If you have any questions, reach out to Grisel Chavez

Ecosia Survey

A team of UC Berkeley students is working with the non-profit search engine Ecosia - a search engine that uses the ad revenue from your searches to plant trees where they are needed the most! This survey about your current browsing experience will take less than 3 minutes. Your participation is greatly appreciated!

Here is the link.

RGB Design Speaker Event (March 11)

RGB is on March 11th from 1-6 pm in Jacobs Hall Room 310. RGB is an annual speaker panel + workshop event that highlights creatives in a variety of disciplines to share their career experience with Cal students. Our speakers include a film photographer working at Leica Store SF, a former Design Director at the SFMoMA, a Visual Design Artist at Riot Games, and a Brand Designer at Discord! You’ll be able to hear from and speak one-to-one to our guests during the event. The event is free of charge, Cal ID is required.
