Summer DES INV Opportunity
If you were interested in taking a design course with us this summer, there is still space remaining in DES INV 190-10: Design, Cybersecurity & Mobility, taught by Vivek Rao. This 6-week, 2-unit course begins July 7, 2020 (end date: August 13), and as a bonus, fulfills the BCDI design skills requirement!

MDes Student and Faculty Updates
Congratulations to all of our MDes students for completing the first-ever semester of the Berkeley Master of Design program! We are pleased to share that five students have received awards from San Francisco's Design Week, and one group in particular—Prana (formerly Limb-O2)—has also been recognized in Fast Company's World Changing Ideas Awards for 2021. In addition to these awards, Julia Park was recently recognized in Berkeleyside for an installation at Albany Bulb.
And from the faculty side, Kyle Steinfeld, Associate MDes Director, is currently featured in CityX Venice, Italian Virtual Pavilion, at the Venice Biennale, with his project ARTIFICIALIS RELEIVO.
