Dear Herp Group attendees,

A reminder that there is no herp group tonight as we will need to postpone Valeria's talk til next year.

On another note, we are taking a hiatus next semester and will resume our talk series in Fall 2026. Jim is continuing his sabbatical and I'll be teaching two courses in the spring. Have a wonderful holiday and a newtful rainy season and see you next fall!

Dear Becca,

I was wondering if you could share my message with the Herp Group listserv! I am an Admin for the Hissscord Discord server, a community for herpetologists of all career levels to connect, support, and hopefully inspire one another. We share regular updates about jobs, research opportunities, and upcoming conferences. We'd love to have members from Herp Group join! See details below, folks can also direct questions to me (coll...@berkeley.edu) or the server host N. Joris Fleck (joris...@gmx.de).

Thank you!
-Collin

Dear fellow herpetologists,

Join Hissscord, the new Discord server for herpetologists!

Following an idea at the SEH2025, we created a new Discord server to provide a space for herpetologists to network, exchange ideas, and get quick help from colleagues worldwide.
It is open to everyone in the scientific herpetological community, from students to established researchers.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us via email (hissscord@gmail.com) or contact the server host N. Joris Fleck (joris...@gmx.de) directly.

Cheers,
On behalf of the Hissscord Team
