Hi all,

Tonight (Monday November 18) our own Dr. Ammon Corl will be speaking about his exciting research on Uta stansburiana. His title is "A Colorful Tale of Genetics and Plasticity in the Polymorphic Side-Blotched Lizard”. This is the culmination of years of research trying to decipher the underlying genetic basis of throat color variation in side-blotched lizards famous for playing the rock-paper-scissors frequency dependent mating game. Because we have an event planned for Tuesday night in the GML, this meeting wil be held in VLSB 2040. We’ll post a sign on the front door of the MVZ to remind you all about the change of venue. Ammon also requested a change of venue for the post-Herp Group dinner and we will be going to Cancun this week.

"Doors" at 5pm, event starts at 5:15pm, followed by dinner at Cancun.
