Hi all,

This Monday our speaker will be María José Navarrete Méndez, PhD Candidate in the Department of Integrative Biology and Museum of Vertebrate Zoology here at UC Berkeley. The title of Majo's talk is "Symbiotic Origins and Evolutionary History of Guanidinium Alkaloids in the Highly Endangered Harlequin Frogs (Bufonidae: Atelopus)", and I know for a fact there are going to be lots of great pictures from the field as well as really interesting hot-off-the-press data.
