Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the Twelfth Annual Formal Theory & Comparative Politics Conference, to be held at Emory University on
Thursday, May 6, and Friday, May 7, 2027.
The conference brings together scholars working at the intersection of comparative politics, political economy, and formal theory. We welcome both purely theoretical work and research combining formal theory with empirical analysis.
If you would like to submit a paper, please do so using this
Google Form. Submissions close
October 9, 2026, and we will make decisions by early November.
Travel and Lodging
We will cover travel and lodging expenses for one presenter per paper and for invited discussants. Unfortunately, we will not be able to cover travel or lodging expenses for other attendees.
Best,
Jack and Miguel
