Hello everyone!
I hope you are all healthy and making sure to take time out of your days to care for yourselves in whatever ways you need. For me, that has been pausing periodically to stare outside into the trees and think about how wonderfully diverse everything that thrives is.
Tonight we will be joined by the wonderful Vivian White, who will speak on her work with the Eclipse Ambassadors off the Path project. You'll find a bit more about that project and Vivian herself below.
Please join us tonight at 5pm PST, 6 CT, and 8 ET for our monthly Eclipse Megamovie 2024 project meeting. We look forward to seeing you all!

The Eclipse Ambassadors off the Path project brought together hundreds
of volunteers to inspire their communities with eclipse science,
stories, and activities. Partnerships of undergraduates and eclipse
enthusiasts mentored each other and trained together to offer direct
experiences to more than 200,000 people on and off the path of totality.
While many enthusiasts traveled to the path, their hometowns were
prepared with knowledge and resources for enjoying a partial eclipse.
Unique events and post-participation opportunities included the Alaska
Winter Field School for undergraduates interested in solar physics.
Vivian White, Director of Free Choice Learning at the Astronomical
Society of the Pacific will share the highlights and results of this
program, other related projects, and plans to support eclipses around
the world.
