Hello everyone!
We are looking forward to seeing you tonight for our monthly EM2024 meeting.
There is no speaker tonight, but we are hoping to chat with you all about something you know a lot about: eclipse photography! The EM2024 team will be working with NASA's SciAct leadership to adapt our Gold Standard document (the eclipse photography guide) to a more general audience for future eclipses.
So, we need your help! What do you think that someone who wants to photograph eclipses, particularly with our high standards for images potentially usable for science, needs to know?
What software do you use?
What websites do you frequent for reliable information?
What equipment do you think future eclipse photographers should seek to use?
What advice do you have for someone who wants to photograph a solar eclipse for the first time?
Looking forward to seeing you all tonight at 5pm PST, 7 CT, 8 ET on Zoom!
