This is a reminder that today's open-to-all-working-groups Interoperability Working Group telecon is focused on an overview of the election business process modeling work that has been underway now for several years, led by Kenneth Bennett of LA County. This work has delved into the actions and choices and decisions typically made in the course of conducting various phases of running elections. The models, while done in a UML notation that may not be familiar to most audiences, is easily grasped as it resembles flowcharts and is available as a Powerpoint slide deck on our twiki, at

The telecon starts at 3pm Eastern/12pm Pacific and the connection details are below. I hope you can make it, this is a great opportunity to listen and learn! You'll be impressed with the depth of work and hopefully be interested in attending future meetings of the sub-group that is focused on developing these models.
Cheers, John
