Hello TrojAI Community,

I thought I'd share a recent news article found by a member of our T&E team. The article focuses on a new Trojan attack paper by researchers at Texas A&M University and it also links directly to TrojAI:

“The threat of trojan attacks against AI systems has also drawn the attention of US government agencies.”

An Embarrassingly Simple Approach for Trojan Attack in Deep Neural Networks

                       One Sentence Summary: Proposes a simple, training-free, backdoor attack which inserts a small "TrojanNet" module into the target network

Odyssey: Creation, Analysis and Detection of Trojan Models

                       One Sentence Summary: Introduces a new Trojan dataset of over 3000 DNN models called Odyssey along with a new Trojan detector which provides Odyssey's baseline result
