On behalf of the European Association for Biometrics (EAB), NIST is pleased to announce that free registration is open for EAB's Workshop on Fingerprint Image Quality
. This workshop is
co-sponsored by NIST, the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (eu-LISA), and the ISO/IEC JTC1 SC37 working group 3.
This update will address the current production status of NIST Fingerprint Image Quality (NFIQ) 2.1, experiences from stakeholders, and the introduction of training concepts and tools to retrain NFIQ 2 for fingerprint images captured with non-optical/non-inked
