Hi Everyone,

 

On Thursday, we had the XCCDF/OVAL Enhancement teleconference where we discussed adding checking systems to SCAP.

 

During the discussion, it was noted that there may be two use cases regarding additional checking systems and SCAP.

 

1. Adding new checking systems to the SCAP specification

 

2. Leveraging new checking systems, internal to an organization, to supplement what is supported by SCAP (not necessarily adding them to the SCAP specification)

 

Given this, do you want improved checking system support in SCAP for one of these two use cases, both, or something entirely different?
