Release of NIST SP 800-53, Revision 5, Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and Organizations

We’re excited to announce the release of NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-53 Revision 5, Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and Organizations. Revision 5 represents a multi-year effort to develop integrated privacy and security controls into a consolidated catalog to strengthen and support the management of security and privacy risk.

Stay tuned: an updated mapping of controls to the Privacy Framework will be available soon, and we’ll announce its release via this mailing list. For more information about changes in this revision and additional supplemental material, visit this webpage.
