Hello everyone,

I am a student currently working on a research project about Quantum Computing and its implications for cryptography. I would be very grateful if you could share your expert opinions on the following questions:

1. Will quantum key distribution (QKD) ever become a mainstream alternative to post-quantum algorithms, or will it remain niche?

2. Which NIST PQC finalist algorithms do you see as the most promising for global adoption, and why?

3. How soon do you believe large-scale quantum computers will realistically be able to break RSA-2048 or ECC encryption?

Thank you in advance for your insights — they will be very helpful for my research.

Kind regards,
Veronika K
