Fellow PQC'ers, greetings!

I’m thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the 3rd annual Real World Post-Quantum Cryptography (RWPQC) workshop!

The workshop website is: https://rwpqc.org

RWPQC is a joint venture of SandboxAQ, the MITRE Corporation, and (newly this year) the Linux Foundation. RWPQC is held In Cooperation With IACR. This year’s event will be a two-day event taking place at the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in Sofia, Bulgaria, on Monday, March 24 and Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Once again, we’ll be co-located with RWC 2025.

As quantum computing continues to advance, the transition to post-quantum cryptography is no longer a distant horizon—it’s happening now. With some of the NIST PQC standards established and more to come, this year’s workshop will explore the ongoing migration efforts, practical challenges, and key developments in real-world PQC adoption. Join us as industry leaders, government agencies, and academic experts share their latest insights, updates, and plans for the coming years.

Featured speakers and sessions include:
    • Dustin Moody with a 2025 update on NIST’s PQC standardization efforts
    • Representatives from NSA and CISA discussing the U.S. government’s strategy and progress in implementing PQC
    • Experts from the UK, France, and Germany offering perspectives from European governments on post-quantum cryptography adoption
    • A presentation on the newly released PQC standards in South Korea
    • Talks from major technology companies, including Google, AWS, Cloudflare, Entrust, IBM, Meta, NVIDIA, and more, detailing their strides in integrating PQC into their operations
    • Industry panels featuring decision-makers from leading financial institutions, consulting firms, and tech innovators, sharing their experiences and approaches to transitioning to quantum-safe solutions
    • Insights into PQC migration efforts across various sectors such as banking, IoT, and large-scale digital infrastructures
    • A look at how the broader internet ecosystem is evolving to achieve quantum safety

Why you should attend
This workshop is your chance to hear firsthand from the people shaping the future of post-quantum cryptography. Learn about the latest breakthroughs, gain valuable guidance for navigating migration challenges, and connect with experts and peers who are working at the forefront of PQC. If you’re involved in securing digital communications for the quantum era, this is the place to be.
