Cease promoting this project originating from China immediately.

This project, which has harassed members of this forum on multiple occasions (Raqcoin, formerly known as ABCMint), is far from being as secure as its founder, Jin Liu, claims.

The algorithm employed by this project has already been completely compromised.

Furthermore, to my knowledge, the founder of this project offered a $400,000 reward several years ago to crack the rainbow signature utilized by the project.

Yet, today, more than a year after the rainbow signature was cracked, there has been no news of Jin Liu fulfilling his promise to reward the challenge.

If anyone has heard of the fulfillment of this promise, I urge them to come forward and provide evidence. If not, it not only indicates the project's insecurity but also raises significant doubts about the founder's credibility.

As everyone said, the predecessor and development of this project have been exposed. The project is far from safe. It is completely a scam targeted by a certain team. The project is constantly changing its name and advertising on this forum, including other academic forums. please stop.

I have privately consulted several cryptographers who specialize in cracking rainbow signatures, and so far, I have not come across any information regarding anyone receiving the promised $400,000 reward. This lack of evidence further supports the concerns raised about the project's founder, Jin Liu, and his credibility.

It is disconcerting that despite the passage of considerable time since the rainbow signature was cracked, no verifiable instances of Jin Liu fulfilling his pledge have been reported. This raises serious doubts about the integrity and trustworthiness of both the project and its founder.

These findings emphasize the importance of exercising caution and skepticism when dealing with this project. It is crucial to make informed decisions based on reliable information and concrete evidence, rather than relying solely on unsupported claims and unfulfilled promises.

We should continue to expose and spread awareness about the potential risks and questionable practices associated with this project. By sharing this information with the community, we can help prevent others from becoming victims of deceit and protect their interests in the cryptocurrency space.

Furthermore, based on my observations, this project is not only opaque but also unjust. The project team engaged in a pre-mining process during the genesis block, accumulating over 200,000,000 coins, which they still retain a significant majority of in the current distribution. It is deeply concerning that the project team, along with their associated beneficiaries, appear to have intentionally concealed this information.

This deliberate act of hiding the extent of their pre-mining activities raises serious doubts about the project's integritLy and fairness. By keeping this information hidden, they are denying the community and potential investors the opportunity to make informed decisions about their involvement with the project. It signifies a lack of transparency and a disregard for the principles of openness and honesty that are crucial in the cryptocurrency space.

It is essential to expose and bring attention to these actions, ensuring that the project and its team are held accountable for their lack of transparency and the potential harm it may cause to unsuspecting participants. By shedding light on these matters, we can work towards creating a more transparent and equitable environment within the cryptocurrency industry, safeguarding the interests and trust of the community.

Is it true that 200 million coins were pre-mined in the Genesis block of this project?
This project appears to be a pyramid scheme!

Indeed, it is true that the founder of Raq pre-mined over two billion tokens during the genesis block. This excessive pre-mining activity raises concerns about the centralization of token distribution, as it deviates from the principles of decentralized mining. In fact, such an approach can hardly be considered true mining at all.

It is indeed true that the rainbow signature used by Raq has been confirmed to be broken. Several months ago, NIST issued a statement, and the removal of rainbow signatures from the NIST PQC standardization list provides definitive evidence of this fact. Furthermore, the related research paper detailing the breaking of the rainbow signature has been publicly available for a considerable amount of time, and the author has successfully demonstrated the exploit.

It is said that the rainbow has not been cracked, and it has not been killed. The end, how can we talk about receiving a reward?
Where is the evidence that killing ended it? If the rainbow is really cracked, then take out its token and destroy it, so that everyone believes that the rainbow has been cracked👍👍

Raq is utterly unworthy of any comparison to BTC. Its despicable actions, pre-allocating over 200 million coins during the genesis block, demonstrate a complete disregard for the principles of decentralization. This blatant act of unfairness is a flagrant betrayal of the early fair mining rewards that Bitcoin exemplified. Cease your deceitful propaganda in promoting Raq, for while you may deceive the gullible masses, remember that this is the PQC forum, dedicated to discussing PQC standardization. Do not harbor any delusions of deceiving anyone in this community.

I understand the request to take this conversation elsewhere, as this forum is not specifically focused on cryptocurrency discussions. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the content being shared with individuals who have no interest in it.

Regarding Raq project-related individuals spreading false rumors and repeatedly claiming NIST approval, it is crucial to vigorously debunk these falsehoods to prevent any potential harm.

Dear colleagues,

We will organize a workshop at the American Institute of Mathematics (AIM), Caltech, Pasadena, California, April 29 to May 4, 2024, on
 "Post-quantum group-based  cryptography" (https://aimath.org/workshops/upcoming/postquantgroup/).

Applications are open for a limited number of participants who are interested in this topic, please apply online if you are interested.

The topics addressed during the workshop will include:
  • Design of new group-based primitives
  • Cryptanalysis of group-based primitives
  • Quantum analysis of hard problems arising in group-based cryptography
Kind regards,

On behalf of the organizing committee
