CBCrypto 2022 — Call for contributed talks
The 3rd International Workshop on Code-Based Cryptography
(CBCrypto 2022), co-located with Eurocrypt, will be held in hybrid
mode in Trondheim, Norway, on May 29-30, 2022. Due to the COVID-19
pandemic, virtual participation will be guaranteed.
Motivation and
scope
Code-based cryptography is the area of research that focuses on the study of cryptosystems based on error-correcting codes, following the seminal work of McEliece and Niederreiter in the
late 1970s - early 1980s. These systems have shown no vulnerabilities to quantum attackers and this research branch is widely regarded as one of the most promising in the so-called area of Post-Quantum Cryptography. Besides bringing together the existing community,
our aim is to provide an opportunity to extend the range of participation to researchers approaching this research area for the first time, or simply interested in knowing more about it.
Call for
contributed talks
Authors of accepted contributed talks whose work has
not been published or submitted to another venue will be
encourage
to submit a full version of their work to a post-conference
special issue in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science
series (www.springer.com/lncs).
Full versions will undergo an independent review process.
Further instructions about
submission of full papers will be given after the conference,
together with the invitation to submit.
