Read PIV Card from PDF Editor

Hi Team,
This is Leon from foxitsoftware.com.
We are the 2nd PDF vendor in the world and our Foxit PhantomPDF is a comprehensive PDF editor similar to the Adobe Acrobat.
Before we purchase the PIV test card and see how it can work with our PDF editor, we are wondering that can the information resided in the test PIV card be read by using the Microsoft API(CertOpenSystemStore and CertEnumCertificatesInStore)?
These are the APIs that currently used in our PDF editor to read certificate in some other popular smart cards and USB keys.
