NEMO chemical inventory

Is it possible to add chemical inventory function to NEMO, so that we can keep track of all chemicals stored and used in lab (chemical name, specs, quantity, location, etc.). Thanks.

Hi Kenan,

I previously implemented a feature to do chemical inventory and user chemical requests. The initial commit is here: https://github.com/dsbarth/NEMO/commit/540a385118db48402f1cfb315ffdf604393e3904

This was before NEMO easily supported apps, so it is just in my own fork of the code. It would be relatively easy to package this as an app so others could use it. We may get to that here at Penn in the near future, but if anyone else wants to take the code (and maybe improve it) and turn it into an app, you're certainly welcome to do that. I also wrote this before NEMO supported chemicals and sds uploads, so it is not integrated with those features.

Hi Kenan,

At the moment, this feature is extremely low in the priority list. No short term plan to add it.

This could of course change but in the meantime I would suggest the App/Plugin route that David suggested.
