Good afternoon,

I work in a nanotechnology lab at Ohio State. We're evaluating the migration to NEMO and have a couple questions.

On page 717 of the Feature Manual, figure 41.61 shows Raspberry PIs with relays being used as interlocks. I cannot find any more information on using Raspberry PIs as interlocks with NEMO. Where can I find this?

Do the Jumbotrons have editable themes?

Thank you,

Hi Stacy,
The mention of the Raspberry Pi interlock was for testing and also as an example of the way you could add your own interlock implementation.
Most facilities are using ProXR/NCD interlocks or Modbus enabled interlocks (mostly by ControlByWeb)
ControlByWeb relays have the advantage that some of their devices can be used both for interlocking equipment and for temperature/humidity sensors, and are supported out of the box in NEMO.

The Jumbotron's theme is not editable, only the background image is customizable.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks,
Mathieu
