MPTC Forum members,
Due to a lapse in annual appropriations for the Department of Commerce, the NIST Workshop on Multi-Party Threshold Schemes will be postponed to 2026. While we are not able to
confirm new dates at this time, we are tentatively considering dates during (or after) the week of January 26, 2026.
The deadline for "preview writeups" (1st phase) of threshold scheme proposals will also be postponed. Again, the deadline has not been determined, but it will not be before January
12, 2026.
The new dates will be announced once normal operations resume and will be communicated through the forum and the CSRC website.
Please be aware that the threshold cryptography team will be unable to respond to emails until government functions resume.
Thank you for your understanding.
Regards,
Andy Regenscheid
