TCPT2 (July 07–08, 2026): Threshold Call Preview Talks 2nd Phase

Dear threshold crypto friends,

The "Threshold Call Preview Talks #2" (TCPT2) virtual event will take place on July 07–08:
Attendance is free upon online registration: https://csrc.nist.gov/events/2026/tcpt

This 2nd phase of previews will include 10 Preview Talks. The corresponding preview writeups will be posted prior to the event.

Subsequent phases:

• The deadline for submitting writeups for the 3rd phase of previews is July 31.
• The corresponding preview talks will be scheduled later.
• The deadline for submission of packages will not be before November 30 (the exact date will be confirmed after the 3rd phased of previews).

P.S. The posting of MPTS 2026 videos and the latex template for package submissions are yet to be published. Thank you for your patience.

Thank you for the information on the updated deadlines for the subsequent phases. Will this shift of ~40 days also apply to the dates for the submission of preliminary packages, initially announced as July 27 – September 07?

Dear MPTC forum,

Preliminary packages: The period (of approximately 1 month) for *optional* submission of a preliminary package will not start before Oct 01. We estimate the auxiliary latex template will be posted around mid-August.

Previews Writeups Phase 3: In consideration that some teams may have difficult vacation logistics in the end of July, we'll be accepting submissions of preview writeups by August 7. We still prefer most submissions to arrive by July 31.
