Dear Threshold-Crypto friends,

MPTS 2025 is scheduled for November 17–20, as a fully virtual event.

It is free to attend, upon online registration. The workshop webpage includes the details, including a call for talk proposals, and a submission form.

We are looking forward to hosting a variety of talks with expert insights from the community. The workshop accepts proposals of two types of talks:
  • Regular talks (on selected topics), to be proposed by 2025-Sep-10.
  • "Preview talks" (plans of upcoming package submissions in reply to the Threshold Call), to be proposed by 2025-Nov-03.
Questions and comments about the workshop can be sent to mpts2025 (at) nist (dot) gov. The email address for submitting talk proposals is different.

Regards,
On behalf of the MPTC team

Dear MPTC-Forum,

To recall, MPTS 2025 is scheduled for Nov 17--20, as a fully virtual workshop. Questions/comments about MPTS 2025 should be addressed to mpts2025 (at) nist (dot) gov.

Regular talk proposals are welcome by 2025-Sep-10. They should be sent to mpts2025-submit (at) list (dot) nist (dot) gov, using the "Form for Talk Proposal" provided in the MPTS 2025 webpage.

"Preview Writeups" (plans of upcoming submissions to the Threshold Call) intended for presentation at MPTS 2025 are welcome by 2025-Nov-03.  They should be sent to MPTC-submissions (at) list (dot) nist (dot) gov. A recommended LaTeX template is now available for download from the MPTS 2025 workshop page, and the MPTC project page.

For workshop programming purposes, we would appreciate it if the teams who are going to submit a "preview writeup" inform us earlier than November about their intention, so that we can more easily reserve a corresponding "preview talk" slot in the workshop program.

A LaTeX template for the actual final specification submission (in 2026) is not yet available, but we'll announce it when it's ready.

Regards,
On behalf of the MPTC team

FYI

From your text....

> In each bib entry, include:
> • field doi when applicable; if not applicable, then include a field url
> • addendum = {\aaIACR{YYYY/NNNN}} (if there is an available ia.cr version

If this means EVERY bib entry, say a CRYPTO publication, also means
that the entry ALSO needs the eprint number, then this creates
a HUGE amount of work as cryptobib does not support this.
- Our main submission has 100's of different citations and we
would need to create a special bibliography format just
to support this.

Thanks Nigel,

That's a useful observation. Will follow up in a new thread "Bibliographic references in the Preview Writeup Template".
