Updates on the NIST IR 8454 and the Workshop

Dear forum members,

 

NIST IR 8454 Status Report on the Final Round of the NIST Lightweight Cryptography Standardization Process is available at https://csrc.nist.gov/publications/detail/nistir/8454/final. The report has been updated to make a few corrections. The attached diff file shows the corrections on page 9, 36, 53 and 92. Thanks to Arne Padmos for spotting the error in Section 4.2.2.

 

Additionally, NIST hosted the Sixth Lightweight Cryptography workshop last week. The presentations are available online. Link: https://csrc.nist.gov/events/2023/lightweight-cryptography-workshop-2023 Recording of the workshop will be available in a few weeks.
