Today, we are delighted to launch our NIST-JARVIS mailing list (https://list.nist.gov/jarvis). The registered web users and previous AIMS and QMMS workshop attendees are automatically added to the list. We plan to send less than 5  updates per year. If you would like unsubscribe, please see the link below.

A few updates on JARVIS:

  1. We have integrated a universal Google and Microsoft based login to JARVIS infrastructure (https://jarvis.nist.gov/login) and its several sub-apps. We received several emails from our users in the past about difficulty in logging in with username/password. We hope the current login feature alleviates this issue.
  2. We have now expanded JARVIS-DFT database with around 70000 materials and several million of properties (https://jarvis.nist.gov/jarvisdft) which are primarily based on VASP calculations with several improved methodologies.
  3. We have added a couple of new apps JARVIS-ALIGNN (for deep-learning predictions, https://jarvis.nist.gov/jalignn) and JARVIS-QETB (https://jarvis.nist.gov/jarvisqetb) as a new Quantum Espresso database of around a million materials. The JARVIS-QETB is used for training tight binding models.
  4. We are planning to organize a virtual Artificial Intelligence for Materials Science (AIMS) 2022 workshop this summer. We'll announce the details about registration process soon.

If you encounter any issue with JARVIS, please feel free to let us know by raising a GitHub issue at https://github.com/usnistgov/jarvis/issues (preferred) or sending a message using https://jarvis.nist.gov/contact/

We are looking forward to your feedback!
