Hello,
NIST Special Database 302 has been updated:
- The remaining baseline exemplar (302g) and latent distal images (302h) have been annotated with features required by EFS Profile 2
- The remaining possible latent to exemplar comparisons (302i) have been added
- Ridge quality maps are now present in all latent distal records (302h)
- Latent distal images are available with pixels unmasked outside the region of interest
- Examiner enhanced grayscale versions of latent distal images are available (302e, 302h)
You can read more about this update in
NIST TN 2367. Due to errata changes and general difficulties with merging data, we would suggest you download SD 302 fresh and repeat your research using these new archives. Our system requires you to
re-request the datasets in order to get a new time-sensitive URL.
We have also added
NIST Special Database 303, a collection of exemplar and latent images from a
2010 study by Fraser-Mackenzie, Dror, and Wertheim for the National Institute of Justice (grant
2010-DN-BX-K270). Read more about this dataset in
NIST TN 2366 and
request the download on our website.
Thanks for your interest,
-Greg
