CFD0 - Wind speed increasing for unknown reason

Currently, my reference height and speed are set to 6 m and 10 m/s, respectively, with the cut taken at 0.25 m. Due to the wind profile, the inlet speed predictably starts around 5m/s. 

However, I’m puzzled as to why the speed appears to accelerate from the inlet (at the top of the domain, moving southward) even though the obstruction is still far away. The flow shouldn’t be changing this early.
